Khushi fly in the sky- getting education with good food….

Khushi, 12 years old is a student of Std. 4th at Shiksha School located in Wazirabad of Gurugram. Khushi’s father passed away and all the responsibilities come on her mother who works as domestic help and barely manages food and education for Khushi.

Khushi’s mother wanted her to pursue a good education at school without any interruption. She came to know about Shiksha school which is being supported by Responsenet through B C Jindal Foundation. She learnt that school provides quality education and nutritious food to children. She was satisfied that at least Khushi will get to eat good food and education at center itself.

Khushi’s mother is thankful to the school management for the support she has been receiving as it has given her child sustained education and food security.

Robi

Skill training took him to his destination….

Robi completed his graduation and was desperately looking for job but did not succeed in lack of skill set. His father is retired from private company, thus family was facing economic challenge.

Rabi got to know about the skill training centre from a friend which was implemented by Centum Foundation, supported by BC Jindal Foundation. Since training was offered free of cost, Rabi developed an interest to join the as it had no additional liability to his family. Rabi joined the training in Retail Sales Associate course and also trained in soft skills and English. The course entirely transformed his personality and skills.

He was given opportunities to appear in interviews with various companies and selected as Sales Executive at Jio Mart store with Rs. 11800/month salary and perks.

Thanks to his steady income, he is able to stand for the family in the time of crisis. Robi admits, his success would not have been possible without the training and support, he received during the course.

Rakoo

Rakoo Ammaa

There is light, despite all the darkness…..

Rakoo Amma was an abandoned and destitute living near Nizamuddin railway station in New Delhi. After losing her husband, she had no place to go and no source of income even no one around her to takecare.

Rakoo Amma started living on the streets in open without adequate food etc. which led to several diseases. The Sant Hardyal Education & Orphan Welfare Society (SHEOWS) which is being supported by the BC Jindal Foundation rescued her and brought to center, where she diagnosed with chronic diseases.

At the center, she got balanced nutritious diet, medical treatment, physiotherapy and care by nurses on regular basis. Rakoo Amma has made good improvement, her health condition is in better shape and she is living a dignified life at center.
