➤ Acquisition of API Laminates (UK) under Jindal Films.​​
➤ Expansion of BOPP capacity to 311,000 MTPA in Jindal Poly.​

2019

➤ Jindal Films commissioned new BOPP line Capacity 50000 MTPA in USA.​​
➤ Jindal India commissioned the aluminium zinc (Galvalum) coating line of 180,000 MTPA and a colour coating line with installed capacity of 150,000 MTPA at Ranihati (West Bengal).
​ ➤ Jindal India started aluminium foil new line have capacity of 5000 MTPA in Jangalpur (Howrah) unit.

2018

➤ Jindal Films commissioned new BOPP line Capacity to 50000 MTPA in Brindisi Europe.
➤ Acquisition of Treofan (Europe) for BOPP Films. ​

2017

➤ Expansion of R&D capabilities - new pilot line installed in Belgium centre under Jindal Films.

2015

➤ Jindal India Thermal Power starts operation of its two units 600 MW each = 1200 MW power generation.

2014

➤ Jindal Poly Diversified into the non-woven business by manufacturing unit at Nasik under Global Nonwovens Division.

2013

➤ Acquired global BOPP films business of Exxon Mobil, with five plants (Europe & USA), R & D centre and 300 + registered patents (Jindal Films).

2012

➤ Jindal Poly Expansion of BOPP capacity from 180,000 MTPA to 210,000 MTPA.

2011

➤ Acquired global BOPP films business of Exxon Mobil, with five plants (Europe & USA), R & D centre and 300 + registered patents (Jindal Films).

2009

➤ Jindal Poly installed another 8.7 m wide thin film BOPET line of 30,000 MTPA capacity, thereby increasing the total BOPET film manufacturing capacity to 120,000 MTPA.

2008

➤ Jindal Poly doubled the BOPP film production capacity to 180,000 MTPA by installing two more BOPP lines of capacity 90,000 MTPA.
➤Jindal India made further expansion for manufacturing Line Pipe including a Coating Plant for size up to 20" O.D. with a production capacity of 240,000 MTPA.

2007

➤ Group has further venture into power generation by setting Thermal Power plant at Angul (Odisha) under Jindal India Thermal Power Limited (JITPL).

2006

➤ Jindal Poly became the largest producer of BOPP in India by commissioning the third BOPP line of 45,000 MTPA, One of the largest line in the world. Total resulting BOPP film manufacturing capacity of 90,000 MTPA.

2005

➤ Expansion of BOPP capacity by 32,000 MTPA, taking total BOPP film manufacturing capacity to 45,000 MTPA.

2004

➤ Expansion of BOPET film capacity by 25,000 MTPA, taking total BOPET film manufacturing capacity to 86,000 MTPA.

2003

➤ The Jindal Polyfilms started manufacturing of BOPP Films, one of the most widely used flexible packaging films. Also Stopped production of polyester yarn.

1996

➤ Jindal Polyester diversified into the manufacturing of Polyester Films (BOPET Film) at Nasik Maharashtra under Jindal Poly Films Limited. The company has quickly transformed itself into largest producer of polyester film in India and 8th largest in the world.

1993

➤ Jindal India expanded its activities by setting up unit for manufacturing of narrow width Cold Rolled Strips.

1991

➤ Jindal Photo expanded into the manufacture of medical and industrial x-ray films, graphic art films, and cine colour positive processed from bulk jumbo rolls imported from Fujifilm Corporation, Japan.

1988

➤ Jindal Photo Setup Colour Roll Film manufacturing unit.

1986

➤ The group further diversifies into photographic product business under Jindal Photo Limited with marketing & selling of “Fujifilm” brand products from Fujifilm Corporation, Japan.

1985

➤ After assuming a leading role in its primary line of business, the group diversified into manufacturing of Polyester Yarn under Jindal Polyester Limited.

1952

➤ The group was founded by Shri B. C. Jindal with Jindal (India) Limited. The operations started in Howrah district in the state of West Bengal with the manufacturing of Pipe and Pipe Fittings. Since then, the company has emerged as one of the largest units in India manufacturing ERW/HFIW Black and Galvanized Steel Tubes.
